There's this habit, in many churches I've attended, to lavish attention on kids until they are out of preschool, ignore them until they get married, and then dote on THEIR kids. I don't know, I guess it just got to me today, because we have to live in the now, with what we have now, and these kids aren't just about the future of the church.
They are here, they are now, they are about what they need now. They are the present.
